Colonial PVA is led by people who are deeply committed to this community — board members who show up every month, staff who have dedicated their careers to this mission, and leaders who understand that behind every program is a veteran or family member counting on them to get it right.
The chapter is governed by a volunteer board of directors and supported by a small, dedicated staff team. Together, they keep the chapter running, growing, and showing up for every member who needs them.
Colonial PVA has operated with financial accountability and public transparency since our earliest years. Our annual reports, financial statements, and IRS Form 990s are available here for anyone who wants to understand how we operate, where our funding comes from, and how every dollar supports our members.
The Accessibility Needs Program has been state-funded and independently audited by the State of Delaware annually since the mid-1980s. Our board receives governance training through the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement every two years. We don't just meet the standard for nonprofit accountability - we take it seriously as an obligation to the veterans and families who trust us.
