Communications Program

Keeping every member informed with news, updates, and chapter information.

Colonial PVA has been communicating with its members since 1968. The channels have evolved - from letters and phone calls to social media and video - but the purpose has stayed the same. No member should ever feel out of the loop about what their chapter is doing, what programs are available to them, or what is happening in the community they belong to.

The Ramp, our member newsletter, received the Bob Webb Excellence in Newsletter Award at the PVA National Convention.

How We Stay in Touch

Multiple channels, one community.

The Ramp Newsletter
Our award-winning member newsletter keeps the community informed with program updates, member spotlights, event recaps, and chapter news. Published regularly and available to all members.
Annual Report
Each year we publish a full annual report for our members and the public, covering programs, financials, and the impact of the chapter's work.
Video Content
Event recaps, member stories, and program highlights are captured on video and shared across our social media channels and website. All chapter video content is produced by a H.E.A.R.T. Program graduate whose career in videography began here.
Digital and Direct Outreach
Members stay connected through the website, Facebook, YouTube, email updates, and the Chill & Chat. For members who prefer or need direct contact, we also reach out by phone and mailed correspondence. No one gets left behind because of how they prefer to communicate.
